The Declaration of Conformity for MOCA (Materials and Articles in Contact with Food) is a certification that guarantees compliance with certain mandatory food hygiene requirements. MOCA are controlled to ensure that they do not transfer constituents or contaminate food products with which they come into contact. At Mulmix, which is UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certified, a process of traceability of the various products has been in place for a long time.
This in-company control and identification system means that total traceability can also be guaranteed for MOCA. In order to obtain this certification, various tests, checks, inspections, analyses and technical trials have been carried out on the materials used, discarding and/or replacing those considered unsuitable. This fairly long and demanding process will, however, allow Mulmix to offer its customers certified healthy products.
Products are manufactured in compliance with Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 of the Parliament and the Council of 27 October 2004 concerning materials and articles intended to come into contact with food products. Transfer tests have been carried out in accordance with the European guide regarding Metals and alloys used in food contact materials and articles (EDQM/COE) – ICP-OES / ICP-MS.
