The SRC and SRA rotating extractors are used for the emptying of the residual cone in the internal part of the flat bottomed silos.
They are built in conformity with the directive 2006/42/EC on machinery and on specific request they can be manufactured for use in potentially explosive atmospheres according to the directive 94/9/EC.
In flat bottomed silos, product unloading is performed in various stages, firstly, most of the product is unloaded by gravity through the central hole, secondly the lateral ones are used starting from the nearest to the central one.
The once this second stage is finished, on the internal part of the silo the material remains that could not be unloaded by means of gravity: the residual cone.
e fixed rotating extractor permits the removal of the residual cone by conveying the material still on the sides towards the central part without the intervention of operators inside the silo.
Emptying is guaranteed by the rotation of the moving arm around the axis, driven by the driving wheel positioned on the free extremity, a clutch applied to the wheel permits the movement only if the auger, positioned on the arm, has unloaded all the cereal that previously obstructed it.
The SRC model is used in all the models of silos equipped with unloading devices positioned in the platform or in underground tunnels; it provides flow rates of up to 30/40 cu m/h*.

The SRA model, instead, is used only in the models in which the unloading devices are positioned in underground tunnels; it is conceived to be extremely versatile; it is adequate for different screws since it is studied for the application of a double screw. The different combinations guarantee capacities from 50 to 200 t/h.*

• painted screw with constant pace and diameter supported by a supporting arm with tubular beam with constant section made of painted sheet
